“I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
‘I served in the United States Navy’”
-John F. Kennedy (JFK)

Being a mother is, without a doubt, the most rewarding job on Earth. But with all the joys, we have to take the heartache too. Mamas don’t like letting their babies go, but it’s gotta happen eventually. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family. Mama wanted a few portraits of her boys before one of them left to join the military. She was emotional and teary-eyed during our shoot, not wanting to let her baby leave just two short days later. I know he’s ready to serve his country proudly in the United States Navy. *love and kisses, Mama*

“Sometimes,” said Pooh, “the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”

Two weeks ago, my little sister gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Colt Nicholas. Here he is, at 8 days old, sweet, cuddly and absolutely perfect! Congratulations, Laci and Jake! xoxo

A beautiful couple (and dear friends of mine) welcomed Sweet Baby “Z” into the world last week. He is such a beautiful and snugly baby boy! I think his Mommy prepped him for his photo shoot because he was an absolute pro. He even saved his smiles for when the camera was ready. Congratulations, M and Dre’. He’s complete sweetness…the perfect addition to your family. Enjoy your little blessing!

What a way to start the holiday season! A few weeks ago I took some maternity shots of this beautiful Mama…just HOURS before she went into labor! While Mom was in labor, Dad was hurrying home from overseas just as fast as he could. He made it in a few days after they were born, but has been on full-time Dad-duty ever since. Well, here are their gorgeous baby boys, “C” and “C”!  Since they are identical twins, Mom and Dad are still arguing (more like trying to trick one another) over which is which. They are 3 weeks old and weigh in at just under 5 pounds, and 5 1/2 pounds. They are healthy and sweet and so soft and snuggly! Congratulations, ”B” Family!!!blog 05 70s santa suits_1blog 05 31blog 05 22blog 05 17blog 05 11blog 05 23blog 05 05blog 05 18blog 05 13
