Being a mother is, without a doubt, the most rewarding job on Earth. But with all the joys, we have to take the heartache too. Mamas don’t like letting their babies go, but it’s gotta happen eventually. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family. Mama wanted a few portraits of her boys before one of them left to join the military. She was emotional and teary-eyed during our shoot, not wanting to let her baby leave just two short days later. I know he’s ready to serve his country proudly in the United States Navy. *love and kisses, Mama*

Two weeks ago, my little sister gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Colt Nicholas. Here he is, at 8 days old, sweet, cuddly and absolutely perfect! Congratulations, Laci and Jake! xoxo

January 20, 2010A beautiful couple (and dear friends of mine) welcomed Sweet Baby “Z” into the world last week. He is such a beautiful and snugly baby boy! I think his Mommy prepped him for his photo shoot because he was an absolute pro. He even saved his smiles for when the camera was ready. Congratulations, M and Dre’.
