I’m so proud of my baby sister! She graduated from LSU in May (Graphic Design.) She is an incredibly talented artist and I can’t wait to see where her career takes her. Here she is with her pup, Roxy.

Here are a few shots of my little sister before the arrival of my precious nephew. These were burried under a pile of boxes, so I’m a little late in getting to them!

While shooting the “Mama’s Boys” session, we snuck in a few shots of the two lovebirds…

“I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
‘I served in the United States Navy’”
-John F. Kennedy (JFK)
Being a mother is, without a doubt, the most rewarding job on Earth. But with all the joys, we have to take the heartache too. Mamas don’t like letting their babies go, but it’s gotta happen eventually. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family. Mama wanted a few portraits of her boys before one of them left to join the military. She was emotional and teary-eyed during our shoot, not wanting to let her baby leave just two short days later. I know he’s ready to serve his country proudly in the United States Navy. *love and kisses, Mama*
