A friend was in town from Austin, TX to visit family for Christmas. She and her husband are expecting their first baby (a boy!) next month. Her due date happens to be the day after the Super Bowl. It doesn’t seem to concern her too much that her mom (a HUGE Saints fan) is at odds between a possible Saints Super Bowl, and the birth of her first grandchild. When the grandma-to-be mentioned her dilemma to a friend, her friend wisely said, “On the one hand, the Saints might be in the Super Bowl…on the other hand, your first grandchild will be born… Chances are, you’ll have more grandchildren!!!” Enjoy the last few weeks of your pregnancy, Kelly! And here’s to a Saints Super Bowl AND your mom being there for Baby Boy’s big arrival!
